Christine was born in Greenwood, Mississippi, and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She eventually settled in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where she now lives independently in her own apartment with support systems in place. At 54, Christine enjoys a full and meaningful life, working two days a week at Goodwill and spending time with her large, loving family, which includes two daughters, five grandchildren, four sisters, and seven brothers.
Despite experiencing a traumatic brain injury (TBI) as a teenager and being diagnosed with early-onset dementia in 2019, Christine remains active and engaged. She loves music, playing Solitaire and UNO, and unwinding with crossword puzzles and word searches.
