What is Self-Directed Supports?
Self-directing your services offers you choice as it relates to your outcomes, desires, wants, or needs.
You choose:
- Who provides your services
- When services are provided
- Where your services are provided
- How your services are provided

If you choose to self-direct, you have the option to direct one or more of your services. It is not an “all or none” approach.

Not all services are eligible for self-direction. Your Care Manager will assist you in identifying services eligible for self-direction and will guide you through those that require additional assistance.
